How do I make a show?
Tap New show and give it a title, then add WAV, M4A or MP3 files. Each file becomes a cue at the end of the running order. The files are copied into Cuefaro, so the show keeps working when the original is gone.
How do I trim a cue?
Tap the cue. Drag the start and end handles on the waveform, or type exact times such as 1:05.5. Listen to fragment plays just that part. Leave End empty to play to the end of the file.
What is a cue note?
A short line of up to 280 characters, such as “GO as the curtain opens”. During the performance it stands under the cue that is on standby, so you know when to press GO.
Can a cue repeat or play faster?
Yes. Turn on Repeat to loop until STOP or a set number of times (2 to 99). Tempo plays between 50 and 200 percent without changing the pitch, and Pan moves the sound left or right.
I deleted a show by mistake.
Open Settings, Recently deleted. The last five shows you deleted, or replaced with an import, can be put back with their audio.
Performing with GO5
What does GO start?
Exactly the cue on standby, whose number and title GO shows. Tapping a cue in the running order only puts it on standby; it never makes sound. Two presses within a moment count as one.
Can two sounds play at once?
Yes. A cue set to Play on top keeps the earlier cues sounding; one set to fade out what plays crossfades them away. Hits have their own buttons and always play on top. Up to eight sounds play at once, each with its own stop.
How do automatic follows work?
In a cue, choose that the next cue follows when this one ends or after it starts, with a delay. A countdown shows what follows. A STOP, a pause, a failure or putting another cue on standby cancels it.
Can I use a pedal or a keyboard?
Yes. Space, enter, the right or down arrow and page down are GO; escape is STOP; 1 to 9 play the hits. A page-turner pedal that types those keys works the same way.
What happens if a call comes in?
Cuefaro stops, puts the interrupted cue back on standby and never starts anything by itself. One GO plays it again.
Frozen versions and show packages3
What does freezing a version do?
It records the running order and a checksum for every audio file as a numbered version. The show says which version is frozen and whether you changed anything since.
How do I hand a show to someone else?
Share package sends the frozen version as one .cuefaro file. Open it in Cuefaro on iPhone, iPad or Android; every file is checked before the show is added, and a damaged package is refused.
What does the check before playing tell me?
The frozen version, changes since, and every audio file that is missing, changed or cannot be played on this device. Restore a missing file at the cue itself. A test tone lets you check the output.
Buying and your data4
What is free?
Your first show, with every feature. The two example shows do not count. A one-time purchase unlocks more shows; there is no subscription.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open Settings and tap Restore purchases. The purchase comes back on a new device signed in with the same store account.
Where are my shows stored?
On your device only. There is no account, cloud, analytics or advertising. Delete everything in Settings removes every show and its audio.
What does AI do inside Cuefaro?
The app itself contains no AI and does its work on your device. The show covers and the pictures on the welcome, empty and unlock screens were made with an image model and are marked as generated.
